This is based at one of several York practices, with work split equally between the practice and the York Hospital. The hospital work includes Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Family Planning and Genito-urinary Medicine. There is a combination of clinic work in both the General Practice and Hospital settings, with some of the experience being based in the community hospital at Selby. There is practical work in Obstetrics on the Labour Ward, which includes some On Call work to widen the experience. There is dedicated teaching time both in the Practice and in the Hospital.
