This is another innovative post based in General Practice for 6 months, but also working at a Primary Health Care research unit at York University. The GP Registrar gains training in research method and health economics, allowing the pursuit of a community-based research project.
Following this six months, the GP Registrar remains at the Practice for a further six months, which allows the experience of chronic disease management in the community. At the same time, it is an ideal opportunity to perform a longer piece of research if this is desired.
