The working week is split equally between a General Practice attachment and Out Patient experience with the Dermatology department. This consists of 4 sessions in Dermatology at the York District Hospital, with a specific teaching slot.

This is a six month post, based in a General Practice but shared with Peppermill Court, a community unit for the Elderly, and also with some ward work at York Hospital.

Haxby Health Centre (Haxby & Wigginton Health Centre)

» Community-based Paediatric Post

This is based at the Haxby Health Centre with the time split between Practice work and Paediatrics in the York District Hospital. The focus of work in the General Practice component of the post is on child health. The practice has a large population of families with young children.
