All doctors commencing training on or after 1 August 2007 are required to complete the MRCGP (previously known as the nMRCGP) for the issue of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). Evidence needed to pass the RCGP is recorded in your e-PF. Whatever you think of the e-PF, it is the method used to demonstrate you are competent to become a GP. That means you have to complete it to a satisfactory standard. It is not the most intuitive piece of IT to use and it does take time and effort. If you seek out advice and make time it is not really that hard. It’s up to you to make it work for you. This guide has been put together to help you, the GPStR navigate the ePF. Since the e-PF was launched many useful resources have been created the aim of this guide is to signpost you to the most relevant and up to date information. The information should also help your clinical and educational supervisors.
