David Fair Yorvik Medical Practice, York
This central York Practice works from two sites. The older premises close to Clifford’s Tower are expected to be replaced by a modern purpose-built surgery nearby within the next two years. The premises close to the race-course were built about ten years ago.
David Fair is a new trainer although this has been a training Practice since 1979. There are six partners and a retained doctor. The Practice offers the usual full range of services. It is strongly influenced by Christian ethical principles. Partners are actively involved in local medical politics, in the development of training at a regional level and in academic general practice.
The Practice is fully involved with North Yorkshire Emergency Doctors for out of hours work.
